6 Things to Do on Labor Day Weekend in Tampa

If you want additional excitement, there are plenty of water activities for you to experience. For example, you can go to Adventure Island and have a go on their slides and VR snorkeling. If you want a calmer activity, you can go canoeing or kayaking on our local rivers. There are also lots of options for paddleboarding in Tampa Bay. But if you're feeling a little pirate-y, you can book a cruise with the Lost Pearl or Captain Memo's. These pirate cruises are filled with fun activities that both children and adults can enjoy.

2. Go Glamping

If you've never heard of it, glamping is a combined word for "glamorous camping." It's just like regular camping outdoors but with the comfort and luxury of beds, electricity, plumbing, and sometimes, wifi.

There are many glamping areas near Tampa. There's the Love Lodge in Lithia, The Hermitage Cabin in Rasayana Cove, and the Bamboo Garden Yurt in Kokomo Farms. If you want to encounter farm animals, you can go to the Lil Bit of Life Farm Cabin.

3. Visit Busch Gardens

4. Go to a Labor Day Party

Going to a party is a must! Especially since it's the Labor Day celebration, a weekend, and the end of summer. This coming weekend, we have all kinds of parties you can attend. 5. Fun for Kids

There are also fun things to do for kids. First up, there's the LEGO® VIDIYO™ Music Fest, where DJ L.L.A.M.A will be making a special appearance. Additionally, there will be interactive games, competitions, and creative pop-ups. In other words, it's a full-on music festival for the whole family.

The next one is MOSI's Minecraft Mania. This is a chance for your 7-12 years olds to show their Minecraft skills on team challenges. They can even learn some basic coding! So if your kids are into Minecraft, don't let them miss out on this one.
