Happy Independence Day !!!

The 4th of July is an important and integral part of our history as a country. This is a day when friends, family, and communities come together to celebrate our nation’s independence from Great Britain in 1776.

The Declaration of Independence did many things for our country. It was the foundation for the belief that all men are created equal and that every citizen has the right to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”.

In this vein, our country comes together on the 4th of July every year to celebrate together. People of all ages, ethnicity and backgrounds plan parties, set off fireworks and/or find local 4th of July community events to share in the occasion. Fireworks are a staple in celebrating this monumental national holiday!
